With thankful hearts, we trust in God as we grow in his love which shines through us. We aim to live our faith and grow in wisdom.
A warm welcome to Whitegate Church of England Primary School. Our school is a place of learning, where everyone is valued and positively encouraged to achieve their full potential, in a safe and caring environment. As a church school everything that we do is underpinned by Christian values and we have excellent links with our church St Mary’s.
My vision is that when children leave Whitegate School they will have become independent learners and will delight in developing new skills and interests, having acquired a real sense of inquisitiveness so that they ask questions about the world around them.
As Head teacher, I am especially eager to develop resilience and confidence within the children at Whitegate School so that they can make the most of all opportunities which come their way. As such, I am passionate about delivering a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum, providing opportunities so that all children can shine.
Whitegate School is special in so many ways, but most notably is the ‘family-feel’ that you will see and feel when you visit us. (Please click here to see our parents' comments.)
I do hope that you find the information contained in this website informative and useful, but feel free to contact the school directly with any queries that you may have. ( If you would like a paper copy of any of the information on our school’s website then please contact the school office and we will happily provide you with what you need.)
Visits to our school are encouraged and I would be delighted to give you a tour so that you can see us in action. (Please contact the school office who will be happy to book a visit.)
But the wisdom from above is pure first of all; it is also peaceful, gentle, and friendly; it is full of compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; it is free from prejudice and hypocrisy. (James 3:17)
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and people. (Luke 2:52)
